The real estate in Pennellville is some of the most desirable in the entire state of Maine or in the entire United States. This is due in large part to the fact that many of the properties are ship captains' mansions, with sweeping and panoramic views of the ocean, as Alicia J. Stonebreaker displays in her watercolor.
