Watercolor
Alicia had a few Maine deer hunters as students in her art classes in Brunswick, Maine. She visited this cozy little cabin in Shapleigh, Maine during a pristine and below zero Maine winter day. It would not take her long to make a fast pencil sketch and then retreat to the warmth of a blazing woodstove. Observe how she skillfully painted the cold mist and haze in the background, the snow laden pine tree branches, and the barren field of snow in front of the hunting cabin.
